WHAT IS A PREGNANCY SCHOOL?
A Pregnancy School is an education and counseling center within a healthcare facility, staffed by experienced and expert healthcare professionals. It aims to equip expectant mothers and fathers with the knowledge to navigate the prenatal, birth preparation, delivery, and postpartum periods in a healthy and comfortable manner, enabling them to experience this process consciously.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A PREGNANCY SCHOOL?
  • Reducing the fears of expectant mothers and fathers about the postpartum period.
  • Ensuring the pregnant woman experiences a comfortable postpartum period.
  • Minimizing or eliminating stress during prenatal, delivery, and postpartum periods by teaching coping skills.

WHO CAN APPLY TO THE PREGNANCY SCHOOL?
  • Pregnant women at 20 weeks or more.
  • Those without high-risk pregnancies.
  • Those with no conditions preventing exercise.
  • Those without severe psychiatric illnesses.
  • All pregnant women approved by a physician.
  • All expectant mothers and fathers seeking information about pregnancy, prenatal care, childbirth, and the postpartum period can apply to our school.

HOW TO APPLY TO THE PREGNANCY SCHOOL?
  • Pregnant women wishing to receive training at our Pregnancy School can register at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinics or the Midwifery Clinic, located on the 2nd floor of our hospital’s outpatient section.
