The first public hospital in Lüleburgaz district began its service in 1972. The health center located in Dere Mahallesi was expanded and converted into a 50-bed State Hospital.
Until September 2014, Lüleburgaz State Hospital operated in three separate buildings. However, until the relocation to the new service building in September 2020, it continued to provide services with a total capacity of 202 beds in two different buildings.
In September 2020, the hospital moved to its new service building and currently provides services with a total capacity of 347 beds, including 300 patient beds, 40 adult intensive care unit beds, and 7 neonatal intensive care unit beds.
The new hospital is located on a total area of 63,397 m², including 55,511 m² of open space and 7,886 m² of built-up area. The building consists of 7 floors, with a total indoor area of 48,566 m². It offers a 320-car parking area, green spaces, and a children’s playground for the benefit of patients and their families.
The hospital employs 71 specialist doctors, 32 general practitioners, and 646 non-medical staff members. It has a physiotherapy and rehabilitation unit with a capacity of 16 patients, a dialysis center with 9 beds, a community and mental health unit that currently serves 286 patients, and a home health unit that serves 520 patients. Recently, our sleep laboratory has also been launched, expanding our range of services day by day. Furthermore, we are continuing our efforts to establish a palliative care unit in the near future.
In order to provide faster and more effective diagnosis and treatment, our new hospital building houses units for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), tomography, mammography, bone densitometry, ESWL (extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy), and ultrasound, all available for our patients.
Our emergency department has been certified as a level 3 facility and provides services to patients requiring emergency interventions, with a total of 21 observation and monitoring areas.
